D L Patel Science College was started in the year 2014 and D.L.Patel M.Sc. college, Himatnagar was established in 2022 with the affiliation of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. It is a magnificent institute of the region with all the needed facilities and required equipment. The admission process for B.Sc. (Semester I) begins soon after Gujarat Board HSC exam results are declared and admission process for M.Sc. (Semester I) begins soon after B.Sc sem-6 examination.

Eligibility for B.Sc.

Any candidate who has passed Class XII (Science Stream) examination from a recognized Board will be considered eligible, Also 10th + Diploma and NIOS Pass Students are eligible to B.Sc. SEM-I. Admission will be strictly on merit basis. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be as per government norms.

Eligibility for M.Sc.

Any candidate who has passed B.Sc examination from a recognized university will be considered eligible, Also an equivalent degree is eligible for this programme. Admission will be strictly on merit basis. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be as per government norms.

Following documents are needed at the time of admission:

• 10th standard mark sheet (original + photo copy)
• 12th standard mark sheet (original + photo copy)
• 12th standard school leaving certificate (original + photo copy)
• For M.Sc admission-B.Sc/B.ed (if eligible) All marksheets (original + photo copy)
• Attempt(Trial) certificate (original + photo copy)
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/SEBC(Non-Creamy Layer for SEBC) (original + photo copy)
• Students from boards other than Gujarat HSC Board are required to present a PROVISIONAL ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University along with their application form.
• Affidavit in case of academic break.
• No AIDS Police Clearance certificate from Foreign Students

Every year, Institute reviews and revises admission process by re-considering and re-organizing the subject groups that are offered to the students based on the availability of the staff. Ideally, we would like to give maximum number of subject combinations to the students. Unfortunately, we are constrained to restrict the number of subject combinations because of insufficient permanent faculty.
