A.N.M.

ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery. In this diploma course of assistant nurse midwife, the student is given information about the things used in the treatment, use of equipments during treatment, how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintain records, etc. It also focuses on the study of health care of various individuals. Only girls can do ANM course.

This is not a diploma course for boys. ANM is a 2 year diploma.

ANM course trains the students & make them capable to work as basic health workers. ANM graduates' main focus is given towards the treatment of children, women & old age people.
