Eligibility for BCA Admission

Pass in 12th Std. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination in Science or General Stream of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or an Examination of any other examining body recognized as equivalent there to, as a regular student with English subject.

Those students who have passed the HSC examination from other than the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board Gandhinagar will require to obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan.

Graduate in any discipline can apply for this course

Programme Details

• Medium of Instruction: English
• No. of seats: 60 in each programme.
• Internal Assessment: Internal assessment is based on tests, presentation, assignment, quizzes and project work given by the faculty during the semester. Regular attendance will be evaluated positively for internal assessment
• Examination & Standard of Passing: A student needs to obtain marks in each parts as shown below for passing the examination. Minimum 40 % of marks in the Internal Exam (12 marks out of 30 marks) and Minimum 40 % of marks in the University Examinations (28 marks out of 70 marks)
